The 3rd and 4th grade students have been working hard creating their Art Goals for the year. Setting goals is a wonderful life skill I hope to instill in my students. As an artist myself, I know how important it is to set an ART goal and try to achieve it.. it's a wonderful feeling when you see progress and reach your goal.
I am so proud of all of the students who took the time this week to dig deep, have discussions and commit to creating TWO art goals for the year ahead. We will be working on many art projects this year but they will also be working toward their personal goals. Please ask your child what their goals are and how you can support them in their journey. Practicing at home is always encouraged! These trees represent growth.... as individuals, as a 3rd grade and especially as ARTISTS. I encourage all students to always allow their imagination and creativity to grow!
